What this is यह क्या है

Dosy is a free app that works out a child's medicine dose from their weight and age. Every dosing value in it was assembled from standard paediatric references and has not yet been checked by a qualified person. That check is what this page is for.

Dosy एक मुफ़्त ऐप है जो बच्चे के वज़न और उम्र से दवा की खुराक निकालता है। इसमें दी गई हर खुराक मानक बाल-चिकित्सा संदर्भों से ली गई है, लेकिन किसी योग्य व्यक्ति ने इसे जाँचा नहीं है। यही जाँच इस पेज का उद्देश्य है।

What we are asking you to do आपसे क्या चाहिए

For each medicine, check the mg/kg per dose, the gap between doses, the daily maximum and the minimum age. Tap OK if the values are right, Change to write a correction in the yellow boxes, or Remove if the medicine should not be in a parent-facing app at all.

हर दवा के लिए mg/kg प्रति खुराक, अंतराल, दैनिक अधिकतम और न्यूनतम उम्र जाँचें। सही हो तो OK, सुधार हो तो Change दबाकर पीले खानों में लिखें, और ऐप में होनी ही न चाहिए तो Remove दबाएँ।

If your time is limited अगर समय कम हो

Rows are ordered by how many Indian brands contain that medicine, so the first rows affect the most real products. The top 10 rows cover 21,916 of 28,003 brands — use the “Top 10” filter on the Verify tab to see only those.

पंक्तियाँ इस क्रम में हैं कि उस दवा के भारत में कितने ब्रांड हैं। सबसे ऊपर की 10 पंक्तियाँ 20,000 से ज़्यादा ब्रांड कवर करती हैं — वही सबसे ज़रूरी हैं।

How Dosy uses these numbers Dosy इन अंकों का उपयोग कैसे करता है

  1. Midpoint × weightMidpoint of the mg/kg range × the child's weight.
  2. Daily capCapped at the daily maximum; when a cap applies the dose is always rounded down.
  3. Syrup → mlConverted to ml using the strength the parent selects.
  4. TabletsOnly a whole or half tablet, and refused if no fraction lands within 15% of the needed dose.
Example · Paracetamol, 13 kg child, syrup 120 mg / 5 ml midpoint of 10–15 mg/kg = 12.5 mg/kg 12.5 × 13 kg = 162.5 mg per dose ≈ 6.8 ml every 6 h → 4 doses/day = 650 mg ≤ 60 mg/kg/day × 13 = 780 mg ✓

खुराक (mg) = mg/kg परास का मध्यबिंदु × बच्चे का वज़न, फिर दैनिक अधिकतम पर सीमित। सिरप के लिए माता-पिता द्वारा चुनी गई ताकत से ml में बदला जाता है। गोली के लिए सिर्फ़ पूरी या आधी गोली, और 15% के भीतर न आए तो मना। सीमा लगने पर खुराक हमेशा नीचे की ओर पूर्णांकित होती है।
